SECRET SANTA
Secret Santa is a holiday staple for me. We do secret santa at my work. For one week, the participating employees all give a gift to their assigned secret santa for each day of the 5 day work week. The challenge is that our budget is $30 for all the days. I know this is almost impossible! I did it though using some Black Friday sales and my favorite the Dollar Store.
If you are looking for some inexpensive ideas, I suggest you look at:
Target-dollar spot ($3-$5)
Dollar Tree- best for gift wrapping bags/boxes/cards/candy
Amazon- bundles of inexpensive items like candles, soaps, adult coloring books, etc.
Most people use secret santa as a one time gift assignment within families or friend groups. I often have a higher budget when it comes to these one time larger gifts, but I still try to keep it under $50. If you are looking for some ideas please see the board below with some of my favorites:
Apple Air Tag- a great gift for a traveler’s suitcase or a person that just loses their keys all the time
Capri Blue Candles- in my opinion these are the best scents with natural/non chemically ingredients
Hydro Flask-comes is many colors and keeps your drinks cold or hot
Satellite Name Necklace- there are so many monogrammed or name jewelry choices on Etsy, but this necklace is one of my favorites.
Monogrammed Tote- give me anything monogrammed and I’m happy. These totes are perfect for your farmer’s market haul or your regular grocery shopping.
Cozy Slippers- one can never have enough cozy slippers. This brand from amazon our a go-to for me.
Personal Pizza Maker-so cool and popular right now, but this one is affordable because it can make a pizza using your regular grill.
Shower Bombs- great for a burst of clean smell or even to help with decongestion
Lastly, I wanted to share this Secret Santa Organizer I found that can help get everyone in your life involved. I especially like to use this with my friends and family that live far away.
I hope you all can find the beauty and fun in secret santa!
